TANGERANG, POTRETBANTEN.COM – Komunitas Taman Potret (KOTRET) dan Rumah Muda Indonesia (RMI) berkolaborasi membuat kelas jurnalistik di Situ Gede, Kelurahan Babakan, Kecamatan Tangerang, Kota Tangerang, Jumat (9/2/24). Kegiatan ini untuk belajar bersama terkait foto jurnalistik.
Dalam pertemuan pertama kelas Foto Jurnalistik, Dennys Suprihatin salah satu anggota dari Komunitas Taman Potret (KOTRET) membagikan ilmu tentang dasar-dasar Foto Jurnalistik kepada peserta yang hadir. Ia memberikan materi sebagai seorang photographer jurnalistik dan teknik fotografi. Begitu pun tentang foto jurnalistik tak hanya sekedar memotret, tapi harus mengerti tentang unsur 5W+1H dalam penulisan berita.
“Seorang jurnalis foto itu harus memahami kaidah jurnalistik, tidak asal motret lalu bisa dibuat berita. Yang utama dari foto jurnalistik itu bisa menceritakan sebuah peristiwa, agar mampu mendeskripsikan sebuah peristiwa secara lugas, dan bersifat objektif”jelasnya.
“Contohnya informasi itu mengandung unsur 5W+1H, menunjukan situasi dan kondisi yang apa adanya, memiliki narasi yang relevan, juga pesan yang penuh makna”lanjutnya.
Ditempat yang sama Dennys menjelaskan lebih lanjut tentang foto jurnalis, ia mengatakan tak hanya teknik saja yang diasah tapi kepekaan dan kreatifitas yang harus dimiliki dari seorang foto jurnalis.
“Jurnalis foto itu juga harus peka pada situasi dan kondisi juga memiliki kreatifitas yang tinggi agar hasil foto itu bisa mempunyai makna”ujarnya saat menerangkan pasa peserta yang hadir di Situ Gede Tangerang.
Diakhir pertemuannya Dennys mengatakan untuk teknis memotret itu memang mudah dan bisa dipelajari, namun untuk mendapatkan hasil foto jurnalistik yang punya makna itu tidak mudah. Yang terpenting dari semua foto jurnalistik itu harus jujur karena dari hasil foto yang kita potret bisa menjangkau dengan luas, karena perannya sangat penting dalam mendukung sebuah berita.
